The Center for the Neuroscience of Psychedelics will commence its first study, which will examine psilocybin’s efficacy in alleviating rumination in depressed patients, this spring. The researchers will also explore psilocybin’s impact on cognitive and emotional processing, as well as on personality traits that can make individuals prone to mental illness.
